Quintro believes in full early engagement with both the local council authority and the local community to work together in a meaningful way to achieve success together. We want to achieve well designed developments in the fastest planning timescales possible, and we believe the best way to do this is to fully engage and explain the benefits.
Quintro has been active in the South West through its partners for more than 4 decades; it knows the planning position of all the councils throughout the South West. All councils are required to have what is called a 5 Year Land Supply. They are also constantly reviewing their Local Plans to ensure more land is coming forward for future housing.
With the government now ramping up and asking that 300,000 new homes are built per year, all councils are under serious pressure to find more land for housing. Quintro is engaged with many councils in the South West, understanding their future needs and exploring potential sites.
